Blood pressure has become a silent killer in the present world. The elevated pressure in the blood is known as high blood pressure. The more pressure at the walls of arteries leads to a hypertension. High blood pressure is very hazardous and leads to many healths complications. The normal blood pressure of human is 120/80 or can be stated as 120 over 80. The medicine will gradually decrease your blood pressure, but in there are some changes should be made in your life style. If your body is more than BMI reduce your weight by doing regular exercise. The habits of having any tobacco products cause blood pressure, so avoid cigarette smoking and consumption of alcohol. Avoid consumption of meat. Include plenty of fruits and vegetables, in your daily food. Avoid consuming beverages like tea, coffee and carbonated water. The relaxation technique and proper scheduling for sleeping will reduce the blood pressure. Stay away from heavily salted foods. The blood vessels get damages due to high blood pressure, which in turn cause stroke, heart disease, kidney failure and heart attack. So it is advised for adults to check their blood pressure once in two years.
