Polio is an infectious disease caused by a virus that attacks the nervous system. Polio may strike at any age, but usually effects children below the age of three. There is no cure for polio till date; it can only be prevented through immunization. Polio vaccine, given multiple times, almost always protects a child for life. Full immunization will markedly reduce an individual's risk of developing paralytic Polio. Though it protects most people; some individuals may still contract the disease due to a failure to respond to the vaccine. Parents are responsible for giving happy life to their children. To survive in this world, human beings need healthy body. Failure too giving polio vaccine is equal to killing the child. If a child gets affected by polio, there is no vaccine to cure, they cannot walk, life long they have to use a sticks to walk.
